Back to Sin City

Awoke to a beautiful 72F day in Flagstaff.  Thought briefly about detouring eastward to see the Petrified Forest before heading back to Vegas for our flight.  The three to four hours of extra driving discouraged us though, so we toddled off back to Las Vegas.  Descending imperceptibly 3000 feet or so to the bowl that holds the town, where we were welcomed by a blistering 105F heat.  Good thing the hotel has a pool!

On to Seattle tomorrow.

  1. Ah yes....! Shades of 1958...probably even hotter now, though!

    Enjoy - safe travels.
