Hopped a very comfortable Alaskan Air flight Vegas-Seattle, picked up rental Jetta and GPS-ed our way to Philippe's for the night. Had a look around the next day in lovely, sunny weather. Seattle is home to Microsoft, Boeing, and Amazon among others, so it's quite tony. You're never more than a stone's throw from a coffee shop either since Starbuck's began here. Lovely town interlaced by lakes, sounds, inlets and canals. Very boaty.
