After a much needed twelve hour nap, we strolled down Blvd Rochechouart to La Cantine de la Cigale for a tartine and cappuccino petit dejeuner, then on to Place Blanche. There we managed to pick up some discount (10E apiece) underwear (forgotten at Stef's) for Paul and caught the Petit Train de Montmartre for a tour. Rattling over the cobblestones pretty well obliterated the commentary for Paul but we did spot a few highlights before disembarking at Sacre Coeur for a looksee. Built by the city as a sort of National Cathedral, it is relatively plain inside and used daily for Mass, despite the tourists. No pictures allowed inside.
Then it was back down to Place Blanche for a quick sandwich lunch alfresco in the boulevard park, before a little more shopping. Managed to find some sun glasses (5E, also forgotten at Stef's) in a street market and then wrestled with an electronics super-store called Darty for a fruitless 45 minutes, trying to get a new Sim card for our Europhone before giving up. Then it was back to the hotel for a rest.
Looking forward to our first supper in Paris tonight!

Love those sidewalk cafes...! I enjoyed just watching the passersby when I was fortunate enough to visit the City of Lights. Great shots of you at the Cafe Georges V !
