Another beautiful, sunny day so we piled in the cars and drove a few kilometers to Seattle's Discovery park. The park is a wooded favourite for local joggers and hikers, with miles of trails in a West Coast rain forest environment. After what seemed like ten kilometers of trail (which Philippe assured me was 1 K), we emerged at the summit of a steep cliff overlooking Puget Sound. It was nice and clear so we had a lovely view across the Sound to the snow-capped Olympic Mountain Range.
Then, home for lunch and a well-deserved nap.
