At Sea, Baltic to North Sea

Baltic Sunset

Learned today that Royal Caribbean had not only reimbursed us for our unexpended dockage fees in Brugges and our unused sortie to Flanders, but also for the unpleasant experience at The Hermitage.  Good on them!

Ship's bridge

On our second day at sea, we continued on through the Baltic, sliding south of Malmo and leaving Rostock and Kiel to Port before veering north to pass by Odense and under the famous western bridge.   Because of our height and draught, we can’t pass under the eastern bridge.

We rounded the northern tip of Denmark and turned southwest towards the Channel and Southampton.  Now late, we aren’t scheduled to arrive before 1030 hours tomorrow.  Sat through an International Ice Dancing show which, in spite of the limited space was quite good, with well-chosen music and some great skating.  After an early supper we went to a rockin' Queen tribute-band show which was low on talent, but loud.
