Another in a series of perfect days today: warm sun in a cloudless sky, no wind, 72 degrees. In February. Now I see why people come back year after year. Most of the nearby houses are rented out to visitors year-round. In summer, people from Miami rent places in the Keys because it's cooler here. In winter, Northerners flock here for the opposite reason. Too bad our dollar is currently small.
Almost time to fire up the BBQ and try my hand at cooking rock-lobster tails. With a bottle of inexpensive wine from the drugstore and a good book, what could be better?
Might venture down to Key West next week.
