Monet's Garden at Giverney

To Giverney today to pay homage to Reg's favourite painter; Monet.  Chi-chi, too cute, pedestrian-only village given over completely to making money off the memory of the Great Man.  It was very warm, very crowded and very cramped.  Reg loved it.  Paul not so much.

Admittedly, the garden is indeed Flower City.  The blue bridge over the lily pond that he painted so many times as his eyesight progressively failed, has been repainted green for reasons known only to France.

That said, it is a pretty place.  Home for traditional Friday pizza with somehow managed to include toppings of potatoes and Bechamel sauce; Good!
