The Southernmost bar in the US is named after the "Shaka" two-fingered salute made popular by the famous surfer, Duke Kahanamoku. Meaning "Hang Loose" it was taken up by surfer dudes everywhere. The associated restaurant was our dining-out spot for tonight. Lacking air-conditioning and a credit-card machine, the establishment underwhelmed.
Great name though!
Off to the airport Friday to hop over to Honolulu and join our cruise on Saturday. Stay tuned for views of the islands from the sea.
