Pike Place Market

Our three-year record of nice weather in Seattle finally broke today and a few sprinkles of rain fell (although technically, Paul maintains that this is still better weather than the Polar Vortex that is bringing the deep freeze to the rest of the continent), so we decided to revisit one of our favourite indoor Seattle spots; Pike Place.

Reg near the entrance

Reputed to be world's first Starbuck's

Lots of organic veggies

Floor financed by sponsors

Produce, produce, produce

Wild salmon by the ton

Humour sells

You've been warned!

Chromosome-coded toilets, dummies beware!

They didn't have Paul's size

That's what I'd call them

Fat Tire beer

After a nice mosey, we found a "Parisien" creperie for lunch and a refreshing beverage.

  1. Funny pics and comments! Those Seattlelites have great senses of humour.

I have visited there twice and especially enjoyed the fresh seafood and local beverages. It rained most of the time, but when it was nice, it was very nice. Seattle is a great city!

    Enjoy!
