Ventured out for Sushi tonight. Hey! Why not, we're surrounded by water!
Mable, our indefatigable GPS lady, confidently led us to a vacant lot on Ocean Highway. We shut her off, took the next right to the Gulf side of the Key and stumbled across the Keys Fishery Restaurant and Marina. There, sitting outside at picnic tables that looked as though they had a hundred coats of lacquer, we surveyed the yachts and sipped a cold one as we watched the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico. The Japanese chef brought out our meal and seemed delighted that we were enjoying it. The food was fresh and prepared when we ordered it. A hidden delight.
Fishermen heading out early to catch our supper.
