Set off sulkily to look for food and stumbled across a Japanese restaurant 5 minutes from the hotel. Tickled, we ordered one of their specials, a seven course meal including mystery appetizer, soup, salad, sushi, incredibly tender eat-with-a-spoon beef, five different kinds of meat BBQ-ed on skewers with rice, Jasmine and Green Tea ice creams, sake and sodas, all for E73 for two. Feeling considerably more optimistic, moseyed back to the hotel and enjoyed a cigarillo in the outdoor smoking lounge, complete with ashtrays and upholstered wicker furniture under a balmy evening sky. Much better now.
